Your Final Blog Entry (5)

Your final blog entry should be a reflection entry about your time in Spain. Think about what you have learned, what was different from what you excepted, what you liked most, what was the most dificult, an experience you had, etc. You are free to talk about anything you would like as long as it is about your time in Spain. You need to write at least 200 words.

The final entry is due Thursday 25th.

Photo Contest 2009

For your final photo posting, we will be having a photo contest (with prizes). See the following due dates:

*Post your picture by Monday night (most sure it is titled Photo Contest)

*Vote on your classmates pictures by posting a comment on just one picture that you think is the best, tell why (Tuesday Night)

*Final round of voting will end Thursday at the end of the break (11:30)

Round One: Each class will vote on the best two pictures (only pictures from your class)
Round Two: Everyone will vote on the top 8 pictures

Free weekend (post by Friday) (4)

This week's posting is simple. Write about your free weekend. Make sure is it at least 150 words and keep it appropriate for the blog. :)

Don't forget to post your weekly picture and description. So far the pictures have been excellent!

One little grammar note: foto comes from fotografía. It is therefore a feminine word. So make sure in your descriptions and comments you use feminine adjectives... una foto bonita, foto buena, etc.

Una experiencia española (2)

For your first blog entry in Spain you need to tell about an experience that you have had here in Spain. It can be an adventure you have had. It can be a funny, happy, embarrassing, etc. It should be at least 150-200 words (you can write more if you need/want to). Don't forget to proof read your entry and add accent marks where appropriate; it might be a smart idea to write your entry in Word and then copy-paste it into blogspot.

You need to have this posted before midnight on Tuesday (June 2nd).

You need to make one comment (in Spanish) on one of your classmates entries before midnight on Friday (June 5th).

Weekly picture assignment

Each week you need to post one picture on your blog. It needs to be posted by Tuesday night at midnight. It should be a picture that you took (or give credit for the picture). You need to include a description or story with the picture (paragraph length in Spanish). Please only post appropriate pictures.

By Friday night you need to have looked through several of the pictures and commented (in Spanish) on at least two of them. Try to comment on pictures that don't already have a lot of comments.

What I think Spain will be like... (1)

Write around 150-200 words (in English) about what you anticipate for your study abroad experience. Include some of the following themes: what will Spain be like, what will be hard for you, what will your host family experience be like, will you have a hard time learning the language, what is your biggest fear, what are you most excited about, etc.
